Since it was her first birthday in Melb, I decided to throw her a surprise birthday party, decorating the apartment with 95 balloons, it was meant to be 100.. but the other 5 blew out >.< Luckily my good friend R just lives next door so that I could do all the preparation at her apt hehehe.. It's so hard to find the right time to move all of the balloons from R's apt to mine since my sis has always came back home first every Wed (she finishes at 3, and me at 4), so I asked for my sis's friend to bring her around first before heading back to apt. I was quite satisfied with the result, she seemed so surprise n happy ^^ and thanks to R for her helps, makasihh ya mpo~ We had dinner at Mongolian BBQ afterwards
We at last decided to travel on a daily tour for our long weekend, as Monday is a public holiday (ANZAC day).

There were 5 stops:
1) Belgrave was our first stop to feeding the bird (Kakaktua).
2) Lavender Farm ~ we tried the Lavender tea (tasted soso), candy (tasted so weird >.<), but the flowers are so beautiful!
3) Ashcombe Maze ~ we had our lunch in here (only meat pie.. so not worthy >.<). The maze games were pretty interesting, we were actually got trapped in one of the mazes, we just couldn't find the way out, kept ending up in the same place hahaha
4) Sunny Ridge (Strawberry Farm) ~ This was the main reason we joined the tour, Strawberry picking!! My elder sis was actually jealous for not being able to go, she is a big fan of Strawberry.
5) Arthur's Cottege ~ We stopped by this place merely for the view. Lalu naek kereta gantung sampe bawah gunung, keren!!

Sunday: Went to Church as usual, had lunch at Mekong afterwards.. I had broken rice with chargrilled chicken and the others had rice noodles with beef & beef balls =) My sis headed straight back home as she still got assignment to finish, whereas me and Rei met an old friend whom we haven't seen for quite a while, Angelika! ^^ She hasn't changed a bit, still the same easygoing, cheerful and caring friend we always know. We stayed at Max Brenner, a very popular cafe in QV building, me myself haven't really got the chance to taste its chocolate drinks, the cafe's specialty, so ashamed ya... bearing in mind that I live in city! Anyway, I had the Iced chocolate ice cream drink with toffee and Strawberry waffle (both drink and waffle tasted really2 sweet). Angel had the most popular drink in the cafe, I think, the special hot chocolate and strawberry waffle and Rei had Frappe and regular waffle. If we knew the waffle tasted that sweet, we would have just ordered one waffle and shared it >.< We stayed there chatting and gossiping for almost 2 hours and left the cafe feeling bloated *enak banget tapi eneg banget*

Nop? =P, Minggu ke Gereja yg jam 12.30 trus lunch dumpling di China Town, lalu lanjut ke South Yarra buat Clearance Sale nya Kookai, each top only costs $5 wah jarang2 ^^ lalu take away Gelati ~ Rocher, Slurrpppee!
Mid-sem break is over, it's time to start preparing for mid-semester exams and assignments >.< I got one Auditing presentation next Monday, it is 80% well-prepared I could say, just haven't got the chance yet to copy the article to be handed out to the class, and Advance Financial Accounting exam next Wed, Gambatte o(^^)O I'm quiet relieved to find out that my sis is finally getting used to her new daily life in here, catching the tram, train and bus, she said that going to the gym won't be necessary in here hahaha

Today: As usual, we went to Church and attended the 12.30 pm Mass.. the Priest mentioned the death of Christianity world's leader. Pope John Paul II (Sir Paus Yohanes Paulus II), aged 84, has passed away this morning. He was the first non-Italian Pope in four-and-a-half centuries, and was elected Pope in October 1978, when he was only 58 years old. He died today after a long struggle against crippling infirmity which inspired Christians the world over. His death ended 26-year reign that shaped world politics and plunged 1.1 billion Roman Catholics into mourning. Pope John Paul II mastered 8 languages and made more than 2300 speeches around the globe.

Daylight saving has come to an end, finally ^^ that means I have an extra hour for.. anything, e.g. sleeping etc hehehe, I'd imagine it's not such a good news for those who live in Northern Hemisphere, right Nop? wakaka =P
Went Church today, we're supposed to attend the 11 am Mass, however ended up attending the 12.30 pm one as it was way tooo crowded for the 11 am one. Therefore, we had a very early lunch at Noodle House in Chinatown. During the Mass, the Priest mentioned that it was the largest Good Friday's Mass he has ever seen in the last 20 years. There was an extra tent temporarily built up outside the Church complete with the big-screen for those who were unable to fit it into the main building, including me, Rei and my sis hehehe. I could tell it was 90% Indonesian under that tent.
Not knowing where to go afterwards, we decided to watch The Pacifier starring Vin Diesel at Crown. We didn't get the good seats as expected, I guess most people ended up watching movie at cinema as most of the shops are closed during Easter Sunday. The movie itself was really entertaining, 7/10 deh *mamam choctop YUMM*
FInished reading Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code at last, such a great novel I could say. I am now moving on to his next novel titled Angels & Demons, which apparently is the prequel of Da Vinci Code. Its story is actually about what actually happens in Vatican City, which is briefly mentioned in DVC. Hope I'll enjoy reading it as much as DVC =)
