Last Saturday was one of my good friends' bday, and we had this birthday dinner thing in a chinese restaurant in Boxhill. The food was delicious. I was really looking forward to the birthday celebration as this'd probably be her last bday in Melbourne... so sad huh?! We had such great time and we managed to give her few surprises, and one of them was really surprising! ;)
It's been really a while huh since I last updated my blog~ Well.. I put the blame on the slow internet connection that occured in June-August, then my slow laptop, then the pc (trying to find excuses here =P). My life has been going pretty much the same actually, nothing's really exciting except my recent ski trip ^^
SKI TRIP At first, it was supposed to be the 8 of us who wanted so much to go, but then things happened, and 2 people could not make it to the trip due to some inevitable circumstances . Therefore, there were only the 6 of us (Me, my sis, her bf, my good friend Avi, and two seniors from high school, a korean named Jen and an OZ gal called Geo). The original plan was to depart very early in the morning, but at last we left Melb for Mt. Hotham around 1 pm. Geo was so nice to drive us there~ it must have been so tiring for having driven for almost 12 hours from Melb-Mt. Hotham-Melb, we managed to have few quick breaks, though, for quick bite, toilet and doing some strecthing. Mt. Hotham is located at the northern part of Victoria, and we drove past our former high school a.k.a Kilmore, too! By the time we reached mid-way to the mountain, things getting more scary~ Geo could hardly drive as it's all foggy outside and we could barely see the road! How dangerous was that?! Avi still managed to make some jokes by yelling "HELP, HELP!" through the windows and Jen wanted to kill her as A was not being serious in this terrible situation hahaha. Anyway, it took so much longer for us to finally able to see the tunnel, which marks the entrance of Mt. Hotham, Yipee!!! Mt. Hotham, here we aree!!
On the second day >> The weather was being unfavourable for us to skiing/snowboarding, and the chair lift has been closed due to the bad weather T.T Hence, we spent most of the afternoon hanging around the Hotel, such a bad day (Ironically, most of us were so into a new song called Bad Day by Daniel Powter and kept singing it since day one ^.^""). Anyway, one of G's friends informed us that Big D (one of the skiing areas) was finally open and we're so excited as little children to be able to play eventhough it's only for 3 hours, YAY ^^. Things started getting worse at night~ We planned to go out to have some pleasant dinner/order pizza when suddenly.. TOING DOENG, no light! Black out for almost 5 hours, we all feel like crying hahaha, as you see.. we only have 2 nights and we're not supposed to waste any time, but.. what could we do T.T
On the last day >> SUNNY DAY! SNOWBOARDING/SKIING TIME!!
We went to the Summit, the most popular skiing spot in Mt. Hotham. I came here once on a ski trip with Kilmore, but I did skiing last time so I wanted to try snowboarding this time, it turned out to be so difficult and painful to play. Geezz, I kept falling down and sliding with my a** instead of the snowboard, and kept sliding towards people, and hit one little girl ouch >.<, and same things happened to A & J hehehe
We left the mountain for Melb at around 4 pm-ish. Firstly, the car was covered in snow and didn't seem working (we had to call someone and jump-start the car), secondly, putting the chain tyre was so difficult in such a freezing weather (we managed to get help from a strong and big man hehe), thirdly, the fog covering the windshield didn't want to go away, resulting A to keep wiping the inner side in every 5 minutes, otherwise G would feel so distracted as she wouldn't be able to drive as the fog covered her visibility. We were so scared when the car slipped and lost it's balance, without any crossbar protecting us from falling over the mountain >.< We made it to the city after 6 hours....... What an adventurous trip!

SYDNEY - hectic and short, yet a very memorable journey...
SYDNEY TRIP 24.06.05 - 26.06.05~ this is pretty much outdated actually, however since I had abandoned my blog for a quite long time, so I decided to post it =)
The idea of going to Sydney was suggested by my good friend Rei, she just suddenly popped out the question out of the blue, well... after careful considerations, I agreed to go. First of all, the timing was perfect, during this period of time everything is on sale =P. Secondly, I've been longing to go to Sydney for eye sightings and especially shopping with my girl friends, so it's sort of like girls' days out hehehe (wish Nop could join us, ya ga nop? ^^). I was actually saddened by the fact that I could not be able to join my family travelling to Europe, the process of the Schengen visa was just taking too long if you apply from here coz they need to send out all of the application form and documents to Sydney and send it back to Melbourne once it's been granted, so yea... my mom said maybe it's just not meant to be for me and my younger sis to go. However, I feel sorry for my dad coz he needs to work and we're travelling without him?! This happens everytime. So, not leaving my dad alone is one of my consolations not to be sad. Therefore.... off we went to Sydney! My younger sis has already gone back to Indo, so she is accompanying him hehehe
First Day:
We departed from Melbourne early in the morning, we took the 7 am flight and planned to go back Melbourne with the 8.45 pm flight on Sunday. We only had three days so we ain't going to waste any precious single hour of the trip hahaha. Once we landed out feet in Sydney, we quickly used every single second for window-shopping and wandering around the city.
Places visited: Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, City, QVB, Pitts St. Mall, Tiffany & Co. (so much bigger compared to the one in Melb!) and we had this most delicious gelato I had ever tasted (the shop is called Gelatissimo), very very yummmmmy ^^ I had Hazelnut & Rocher, as usual hehehe~
Second day:
It's a full day of both shopping and window shopping! Marking around the city was really tiring as the structure of the city was very messy, unlike Melbourne, plus there was no tram or any easier transportation. In the evening, we met up with one of our old friends who used to be our schoolmate back in Kilmore, known as CK. He was kind enough to drive us around Sydney and showed us the best spots to take photos, such Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Bondi Beach, Kings Cross, Double Bay and Shangrila Hotels. I orginally planned to meet and do a little bit of catch up with one of my Junior High School friends, C. Yapit, unfortunately she was not able to come as her exam period was not over yet at that time, plus the weather was being unfavourable throughout my whole trip in Sydney, so I had no chance of meeting up with her =(
Last day:
Visited Chinatown, Paddy's Market and Pitt Street Mall.
Met up with CK and his friends for dinner and had a little bit of glazing UNSW, I'd say it is a bit bigger than Mel U..
Afterwards, CK drove us to airport, so nice of him!

I recently bought a cute little Maltese puppy named Mochi aka Momo, well... she was originally named NioNio which means "fatty" as she is the fattest amongst 5 puppies. Momo is actually the daughter of my good friend's dog, who was just born at the end of April. My sis instantly fell in love with those cute puppies, and despite the restriction of not keeping pet in the apartment, we still brought one back home. We actually planned of keeping Nio2 for a week but then she is being so adorable my sis just couldn't resist the idea of buying her, err... okay..... After careful consideration, we decided to keep her, just hoping me and my sis could be strict and tough in teaching her discipline or else, I'll be spending at least 2-3 times a day cleaning her poo &/or pee making sure it won't leave stain on the carpet >.<

Firstly, I'd really like to say heaps of thanks n hugs to my family and friends who have sent me Bday messages via phone, sms, msn, friendster; wished me the best on my birthday, and prepared my birthday celebration, making it an unforgettable day for me to remember, you all really made my day (^0^) ~ I'm really touched T.T
Friday night: I went to Karaoke in city with my best buddies (wish more people could come..) and stayed there for like 8 hours, literally! At exact 12 am, I got bday wish from Nop via sms (makacih Nop, first sms ^^), Jep via phone (Jep, loe yg pertama huehehe) and Dmatez (thx for throwing me a surprise-karaoke-bday celebration!). I got back home at 5 am and was surprised by my little sister and her bf's attempts in decorating the apartment. They hung dozens of balloons on the ceiling with the balloons being numbered in order.
Saturday: Watched Star Wars 3 and went straight to a restaurant called The Pub located in Crown for my birthday dinner. We had lots of fun, yummy birthday cake (si Rei tau aja pesen rasanya..), maen kembang api!
